Great news. We now have planning permission for the wish list of work to improve the Village Hall. To make this wish list happen, we will need considerable funds, and the intention is to raise as much of this money as possible through local and national grants, as well as working in close partnership with the Tostock Parish Council.
However, alongside this, it is also vital for us to increase our community fundraising efforts and as part of this, we would like to share with you our exciting plans to set up a Tostock Village Hall Lottery -100 Club!
The Tostock Village Hall Lottery will have:
PLEASE NOTE, until we can get 100 participants the above prize amounts will be reduced so that every draw we will still give six cash prizes which equate to 50% of the money taken in.
Entries will be open all year round, and when you join you will automatically be included from the next quarterly draw. The draw will be open primarily to Tostock residents (aged 16 years and over), however friends or family from outside the village who are over the age of 16 can also enter. You will also be able to have multiple participants from each house-hold, indeed you can request multiple entries in the same name.
The necessary administrative procedures, including the required local government licence, are currently being put in place to run this lottery. Once this is in hand, the Tostock Village Hall and Tostock Village Facebook pages will provide information on how to enter, as well as a leaflet drop to all houses.
