What is Personal Data?

Quite simply, any information about a living individual which allows him/her to be identified from that data, e.g. name, e-mail address. Identification can be by the information alone or by combining it with other information held by an organisation such as the Parish Council.

Tostock Parish Council is committed to keeping your personal information private and secure.

Privacy Notice?

The Council needs to tell you what it does with your information and how it provides for the safe handling of your data. To do that, it has issued a Privacy Notice which you are strongly encouraged to read.

The Privacy Notice provides details about when and why the Council collects your personal information, how it is used, the limited conditions under which it may be disclosed to others and how it is kept safe. It also tells you about your rights and how to exercise them.
